Developing employment and skills

This theme concentrates on making sure we have the right education, skills and training opportunities to develop local talent and attract new jobs to our town.

We already have excellent schools, and a leading centre for learning and training in Wiltshire College Chippenham.


So, what’s the plan?

We want to improve links between our schools, the college and businesses so that opportunities are created to provide the right learning and skills needed for success.

We will also be working with Jobcentre Plus to identify learning and skills gaps and develop programmes to address these.
